Who We've Helped
Every grant pledged and every programme we support represents a real person, a child who found their confidence, a community that found its footing, or an organisation that could go further because someone had their back.
Here is a snapshot of the work we are proud to have been part of.
Hear From Our Partners
What our partners say about The Manny Cohen Foundation
Adrian Raisbeck, Founder and CEO of Mbora
“The Manny Cohen Foundation has been a fantastic partner to date, specifically for our healthcare component.”
Rabbi Jonny Hughes, Founder and CEO of The Abraham Effect
“The support of the Manny Cohen Foundation has been nothing short of extraordinary. Their generosity, encouragement and genuine belief in our mission have enabled us to reach thousands of young people with programmes rooted in Jewish identity, Holocaust education and meaningful human connection.”
Emma May, Hatzola Herts Bushey
“We are so grateful to The Manny Cohen Foundation for all their support as we set up Hatzola Herts’ operation in Bushey. The trustees have been hugely encouraging and supportive, and have played an important role in helping us purchase vehicles and equipment, which will be used to deliver our service.”
Adam Goldstein, CEO of JCAT
“The kind donation from the Manning Cohen Foundation is enabling us to ensure children with SEN across our schools are receiving the best possible support. It has enabled us to upskill our colleagues in specific elements of SEN provision which is then cascaded via training across our schools, as well as commissioning additional specialist support for those pupils that need it. At JCAT we’re very proud to be working with the Foundation so that children with SEN in JCAT schools can succeed and thrive”
Paul Anticoni OBE, Chief Executive of World Jewish Relief
“The Manny Cohen Foundation has provided critical support to World Jewish Relief’s response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine assisting hundreds of thousands of individuals, both within and beyond the Jewish community to cope with this unprecedented catastrophe. Humanitarian assistance, support to elderly clients, getting thousands into employment and helping those that have been displaced and become refugees, the Manny Cohen Foundation has been unbelievable in its kindness, concern and partnership”
Angela Cohen MBE, Chair of 45 Aid Society
“On behalf of the 45 Aid Society, we are deeply grateful to The Manny Cohen Foundation for its generous support of our work in Holocaust education and in standing up against antisemitism. At a time when hatred and intolerance are once again increasing, The Manny Cohen Foundation’s commitment to education, remembrance and understanding is both vital and inspiring. Their support helps us ensure that the voices and experiences of Holocaust survivors continue to educate future generations and challenge prejudice wherever it appears.”
Ari Leaman MBE, Executive Director of The Boys Clubhouse
“Thanks to the generosity of the Manny Cohen Foundation, our housing unit has been completely transformed — giving some of London’s most vulnerable young men a safe, dignified place to call home. For the young people we support, many of whom arrive in crisis with nowhere to turn, this renovation means so much more than four walls. It means stability, safety, and a real chance to rebuild their lives. We are profoundly grateful.”
Chief Rabbi, Sir Ephraim Mirvis KBE
“Paul and Mike are passionate about education and are determined to impact the lives of young people in memory of Manny. It has been a pleasure working with them to transform Jewish education.”
Camp Simcha
“The Manny Cohen Foundation has been a deeply valued supporter of Camp Simcha for several years, helping us bring hope, joy and vital emotional support to seriously ill children and their families. Their generosity began in 2022 with a remarkable legacy gift following the passing of Manny Cohen, which provided vital funding for our annual residential retreats, comprising two family retreats, a retreat for the seriously ill children and a separate retreat focused on siblings of children with serious illness. These experiences created life-long memories for everyone involved and much-needed respite for families facing immense challenges.
Since then, the Foundation has continued to support our work each year, making a lasting difference to the lives of the children and families we care for. Their kindness and commitment have helped ensure that families never have to face serious childhood illness alone, and we are enormously grateful for their ongoing partnership and support.”
